If you want highest package ,you must have good programming / coding skills , because always there is great demand of Developer as compared to other profiles like testing, databases handler , Consultant , service associate , designer etc. And it's normal in first year that most of students approx 90–95% don't know ABC of coding or programming , after that you learn everything from basics like C or C++ programming. This is your learning stage you have lots of time. But aim will be simple that you should have good coding skills at the end of your academics either you learn by theory or practicals in lab or by external sources like private training institutes ,it doesn't matters. Matter is that you should know programming in deep learning and practical on any languages like python ,java, R languages, C++, etc many languages are there . Which branch should I choose for engineering at INA?-query7

It is totally depend upon your area of interest as there is no doubt on college. Now Your development is totally depend on your effort and how much you are dedicated to curriculum for gaining knowledge , gaining practical experience. Both available field have good scope. Link for official Web site:  INAC BTech | IN Cadets of the INAC (BTech) course are subjected to the academic rigours of a carefully-structured syllabus spread over a four-year period. Successful cadets are awarded a ‘Bachelor of Technology’ degree in any one of the streams viz., 'Applied Electronics & Communication', ‘Electronics-and-Communications’, or ‘Mechanical Engineering’. The stringency of this ‘B.Tech.’ programme is over and above the demands of a ‘parallel’ syllabus that involves training in a number of disciplines and subjects relevant to the Indian Navy and its leadership.

Can I do information technology after a diploma?-query 6

Engineering in IT/CS is one option where you get admission in second year and other option is you can do BCA or BSc IT where you will get admission in first year but course is of three years. Choose wisely because you have to deal ,not the advisor. Think which will be comfortable for you and always remember college or university where you get good learning , practical knowledge as well as campus placement opportunities matters more than the degree you do in IT field.Since it will give you the theory and practical coding/programming knowledge both are important for your future not the name of degree.
