What are some picnic spots in Mumbai with no entry fees?

I like this question so much as i am Mumbaikar ,i will try to give my best. There are no of places to go as 1 day spot or picnic spot in mumbai . We are totally depend on Mumbai local train and BEST bus for travelling. Mumbai local train connect each and every place of Mumbai whereas BEST bus support it by connecting railway station to deep inside places.,so whereever i say bus means BEST bus and station means Mumbai locsl railway station and here kaali peeli taxi are famous

1. Marine drive, (nearest railway station Marine lines -2 min walking distance from it ) it is best loving spot ofMumbai. It is peaceful place where you will just sit facing sea you will feel inner peace . Love birds ,kids , family ,aged all can enjoy here. There are no of people going there in morning for jogging. It is shown in all movies where they show Mumbai city. Best time morning and evening to visit. (No charges)
2. Girgaon beach, (nearest railway station Charni road , 2 min walking distance from it as well as from Marine drive) all age group can visit , it is beach where you will have fun and enjoyment , there beachside panipuri , Ragada , are famous. (No charges)
3. Siddhivinayak temple , (nearest railway station dadar ,20 min walking distance , sharing taxi available with reasonable charges) it's Ganpati/ganesh temple where all Mumbaikars have great faith and belief. You will find so peaceful and spirituality there.(no charges)
4. Nariman point , end of Marine drive ,( nearest railway station Churchgate, 20–30 min walk , taxi /BEST bus available) peaceful place ,having good scenary , many movies have shoot thier like munna bhai MBBS . Sea view is beautiful there.all age group can visit.(no charges)
5. Kamla Nehru park , (shoe House/garden) ,(nearest railway station charni road/grant road , walking distance 20–30 min ,taxi bus available ) peaceful place surrounding by greenery and peace . Beautiful garden . Best visit time evening ,you will see beautiful sunset here , city view are beautiful from here. (No charges)
6. Juhu beach ( nearest railway station andheri , 30–40 min walking , bus , autorickshaw ,taxi available ) peaceful place ,best time evening ,sunset is beautiful here , sometime celebrity can be seen here for morning or evening jogging, many movies shoot had took place here ,beach area .(no charges)
7. ISKCON radhe krishna temple , near to Juhu , (nearest railway station andheri ,auto rickshaw ,taxi available ) peaceful spritual place , best time morning and evening Aarti , (no charges)
8. Pagoda (nearest railway station Malad , you have to take bus or taxi from malad station to madh or marve , from there boats with reasonable rates available ) this is Buddhist temple with beautiful architecture golden paint on it, with full greenery surrounding , peaceful spritual place. (No charges)
9. Sanjay gandhi national park /canheri caves (nearest railway station Borivali , walking distance from station 10–20 min ) bus ,taxi , autorickshaw available) it's national park with beautiful forest , lake where peddle boats are there , many animals birds , are there . There is deep inside canheri caves where you can go via bus or some sharing taxi available inside national park at main gate . (Charges for national park 40rs approx each person , for canheri caves entry additional 10 rs each )
10. Gateway of India / Taj hotel /oval ground /Mumbai University main building/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum/Jehangir art gallery, (nearest railway station Churchgate)

• Gateway of India /Taj hotel ,( is at one place taxi bus available from church gate railway station,or walking distance 20 min ,via oval ground. ). It is pride of Mumbai as well as India , historical as well as scenery view place . It is present in all movies where they show Mumbai City, it is symbol place of Mumbai . (No charges)
• Oval ground or maidan / Mumbai university main building ( is at one place , just 5 min walking distance from railway station) , historical place as well as cricket practice can be done here. (No charges)
• Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum ( 10 -20 min walking distance from Churchgate railway station) Bus, taxi available . Historical place you can spend whole day here to explore . (Charges 50 rs approx per person)
• Jehangir art gallery (10–20 min walking distance from station,) bus taxi available . It is art showroom where no of best painting of India and World is here to see. (No charges / charges applicable for specific art exhibition and auction)

11. Nehru science center / Nehru planetarium/Mahalakshmi / haji ali ( nearest railway station Mahalakshmi)

• Nehru science center and Nehru planetarium at one place ( 20–30 min walking distance from station) bus taxi available . You can spend whole day here . Scientific museum and exhibition are there with space orientation movie video shown there at Nehru planetarium . Best place for students. Some 60–120 rs charges are there for per person.
• Mahalakshtmi temple ,(20 min from station ) sharing taxi ,bus available. Spritual ,devotee place .
• Haji Ali , ( 20–25 min from station) sharing taxi ,bus available , spritual place.

12. Carter Road/ Bandstand/mount merry church/ mannat the celebrity house (nearest railway station Bandra)these places are famous .most movie shooting done here like jai ho. Nice scenary , beautiful sunset , taxi bus available .(no charges)

13. Jivdani mata temple ( nearest station Virar) bus autorickshaw available , spritual place at mountain peak , have to step up ,1600 approx stairs need to climb to get temple at top.(no charges)

14 . Yazoo park (nearest railway station is vasai )chargeable/reasonable charge .bus taxi available from station.its kind of amusement park.

15. Mumbai is always famous for many water resorts and amusement park but having good charges approx 1000rs per person for a day. Some of are adlab Imagica , aqua Imagica, water kingdom ,Essel world , etc.
