what should we do after getting bored or have so many stress from work or profession? or How we can refresh ourself ? how can we deal with work anxiety ?

Ya it is normal to get bored or stressed,it happen when we continuously working or getting focus in a single project for long time. Hence in IT or CS industry , engineers get 2 days holiday in week so they can enjoy ,do outing and get mind fresh so rest of five days of week they can give their best.


So what can you do for this problem ,i will give no of suggestions you can follow all or atleast 2–3 . All suggestions are on common logic based which is diversion of mind and get envolve in new things. For eg. When we have headache what we do,we take head massage or oiling or paracetamol tablet , all these just do diversion and relaxation of brain/head.

Most important you should have proper daily schedule to maintain work life balance. It should be from morning wake up till night sleep.

  1. You can take gap from your work and go to outstation with family to enjoy ,your mood will be swing after spending some days with family ,they also feel happy and good. It can be short (1–3 days) or long trip(one week or more than that) whatever your budget.
  2. Generally in India working place are far from native place so try to go atleast once in a year to native place /village /farm house with family normally or you can go for function like marriage etc .It is good way to take break of a week or more than that. You also know your relatives. Your kid family members get to know about native place their lifestyle tradition.
  3. Generally we avoid going family functions , friends/collegues party functions. We should not do that . We should go and give companies . Infact we should go with family . It will good for you ,your relation , family members can know relatives etc. It is one way of short break for 3–5 hour.
  4. Try to go amusement park or water resort once in 1 or 2 month with family or friends to get relax ,enjoy get out from tension of work.
  5. Join any trekking group like in Mumbai offbeat explorer are very good and famous. Where they plan once or twice in month for outing to any place which is very close to nature. Like any dam , mountain,fort, historical place, river rafting etc.
  6. This will be on daily basis , schedule your working day timetable in which includes 20 min session of meditation in morning and evening , morning for start a new day , evening to end a day. This will break your stress continuity and you get relax ,you will take help of app or yoga related videos or simple pranayam or Surya namaskar is also fine. And one most important thing ,never discuss first place thing to another place keep it separate. Like office work tension focus in office and home matters , problem stress in home. Never think about home matter at office or office matter at home.
  7. Meditation is good option you can try this one also which will be like by most of people. Watch atleast 30 min video or shows of laughter like comedy scenes or kapil sharma show,TMKOC etc at TV or at YouTube and laugh freely ,try to do it with family , because it will improve your relation and also get relaxation to your family members tension since they also have many stress it can be small or big like kid have project or assignment submission tension , housewife have cooking , clothes washing etc many work stress.
  8. Go for movie once in week , and it can be any positive , horror ,comedy which you like most.
  9. Try to get envolve yourself in your hobby which may be different from your profession. Like painting , cooking , reading , watching movies series, listening music ,singing , dancing etc. Atleast a day in week or daily 1 hour.
  10. Meet friends , relatives , family members,whoever you like most once in week ,or as much as possible/daily an hour , spend time ,share your thoughts , be open ,chat or discuss your daily things ,matters etc.
