Major difference between MBA and PGDM

What are the differences between an MBA and a PGDM ?

MBA is post graduation degree which will be affiliated to any university. Exam will be conducted According to that university. This degree will be valid whole over world.

Whereas PGDM is post graduation diploma degree course which is affiliated to college , it's accreditation is depend totally on college reputation. Examination body will be from college authority. It is valid in India . Most of place have value to this course. But some places like USA or UK , don't give importance to this course.
